ACCESS

The Comedy Box at the Hen & Chicken Studio is a first floor venue and therefore only accessible by a flight of stairs. Unfortunately, the Hen & Chicken does not have a lift so the first floor is not wheelchair accessible.

However, if you or anyone in your party can attend our shows but require easy access to the toilets or the exit then we can organise seating for you which is best positioned for both purposes.

Please contact the office on 01275 375056 or email admin@thecomedybox.uk with your requirements and we will endeavour to give you priority treatment by reserving you suitable seating.

NB. The Comedy Box also produces shows at the Tobacco Factory Theatre which is fully wheelchair accessible with a lift. If you are a wheelchair user you are strongly advised to contact the box office and notify them in advance that you will be requiring an allocated space in the auditorium. Box Office will need to be notified at the time of ordering your tickets. Please call 0117 902 0344. If you are ordering your tickets via this website you will still need to notify the box office.

Under 18s

The Comedy Box has no official policy on under 18s coming to our shows. In fact, we positively welcome it. But we do insist to parents or guardians that under 18s must be accompanied by at least one adult over the age of 25. We also advise that shows are not really appropriate for under 14s, mainly because of the adult nature of much of the content. It should also be noted that under 18s are not permitted to purchase or drink alcohol on licensed premises.
