Ali Woods blends sharp observational comedy with warm, self-aware storytelling, exploring modern masculinity, relationships and British social awkwardness through an engaging, high-energy stage presence. His material balances classic “lad” culture with emotional intelligence, finding humour in vulnerability without sacrificing punchlines. Whether dissecting dating, football, family or mental health, Woods combines rapid-fire jokes, physical expressiveness and relatable anecdotes that make audiences feel included rather than lectured.
His online comedy sketches under the tag @aliwoodsgigs have gained millions of views and likes, and featured on LadBible and Buzzfeed UK. In 2022, he supported Russell Kane and Axel Blake on tour and in 2024 supported Adam Kay.
In 2024, Ali starred on Comedy Central Live and Stand Up Sketch Show. He also had a third sold out Edinburgh run with his show ‘At the Moment’ he then embarked on his first ever solo tour across the UK and Ireland to sold-out audiences, including a date at Bristol's Hen & Chicken.
