The Slapstick Festival is back and bigger and better than ever!

In 2022 Slapstick Festival will be running from 26th 30th January with a host of hilarious celebrities and comedians sharing their comedy highlights.

Highlights include:

David Mitchell making his Slapstick festival debut at the Bristol Cathedral in our ever-popular Top Comedy Moments strand. During the show, David will reveal his favourite and most influential moments of on-screen comedy with his host Matthew Sweet.

Tim Vine on why we should all take the time to rediscover his comedy hero, Kenny Everett. Tim will be taking us through a series of extracts and discussing the Legendary DJ Kenny, and hell also be joined for a brief on stage appearance from the one and only Barry Cryer.

Two amazing events with pioneer of comedy Podcasting, legendary stand up and writer Richard Herring.

If Richard was stranded on a desert island and could only have 10 comedy films with him, which films would he choose? Come and delight in the conversation as Robin Ince probes Richard to reveal the titles that can stand repeat viewing and hear the stories behind his choices.
