Andrew Doyle is a writer and comedian. He is the co-writer of internet sensation Jonathan Pie, the spoof news reporter created by Tom Walker. Andrew started writing for Pie in December 2015, and since then has collaborated with Tom on weekly online videos and two live shows. The first, Jonathan Pie: Live, toured the UK in 2016/17 and culminated in a sell-out performance at the London Palladium. Their second show, Jonathan Pie: Back to the Studio, toured the UK earlier this year and is currently touring Australia.
Their online video responding to the US election result has had in excess of 150 million views. They also co-wrote and released a new book called Jonathan Pie: Off the Record at the end of last year. Andrew is also the stand-up support act for Jonathan Pie and has performed at the Palladium and the Hammersmith Apollo.
Andrew recently appeared at Edinburgh Festival Fringe in his sixth solo stand-up show Thought Crimes, which will run at the Soho Theatre in London in July. His previous solo stand-up shows are Future Tense, Minimalism!, Zero Tolerance, Whatever it Takes, and Crash Course in Depravity.
